Radio Engineer
About the role
The position is responsible for identifying and requesting new Radio IDs, Talkgroups, and Encryption for use in developing and building templates installed into an MPSCS radio. This individual will also be required to accurately enter data into radio programming files and associated asset management software (EAM) and databases.
Responsibilities
- Identify and request new Radio IDs, Talkgroups, and Encryption
- Accurately enter data into radio programming files and EAM and databases
- Function with minimal supervision and require minimal direction
Requirements
- Three years of experience as a Radio/Communications Technician
- Two years of experience with P25 Radio Programming (Motorola & Kenwood)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Duration: This is a long-term ongoing project.

This is a Contract position based out of Dimondale, MI.

- Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00/hr
