About the role
Full-Time Senior Radiation Therapist in an outpatient radiation oncology department.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and charts prior to treatment
- Deliver accurate and consistent radiation treatments
- Complete treatments and coordinate scheduling
- Perform treatment planning and simulation
- Utilize advanced equipment like TrueBeam linac
- Teach students and present current cases
Qualifications
- Certified Radiation Therapist with ARRT (RT[T])
- Completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to operate TrueBeam linac and perform treatment procedures
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of radiology, medical imaging, and cancer care
- Attention to detail, excellent patient care, and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow regulatory standards and departmental protocols
Schedule
Daytime schedule, no call, weekends, or holidays.
