Radiation Therapist - PRN Nights & Weekends

About the Role

We are seeking a Radiation Therapist for a PRN role involving nights and weekends, working on an as-needed basis with a minimum of 20 hours every 6 weeks. This role involves performing patient treatments using ionizing radiation under the supervision of Radiation Oncologists, supporting a department equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a variety of treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and charts prior to treatment
• Delivering accurate and consistent radiation treatments
• Coordinating patient scheduling and completing treatment processes

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Certified Radiation Therapy program
• Board certification by the ARRT, RT(T) certification
• High school diploma or GED (additional Bachelor's degree preferred)

Skills and Technology

• Experience with advanced treatment techniques (e.g., SBRT, SRS, Adaptive therapy)
• Familiarity with modern treatment machines such as TrueBeam, Edge, ViewRay, Gamma Knife, Hyperthermia
