Radiation Therapist - PRN

Role Overview

Performs daily imaging and delivers prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to patients safely and accurately, utilizing technical expertise in equipment, clinical setup, and anatomical landmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure precise delivery of radiation therapy while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.
• Interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members.
• Document patient care accurately in treatment records and charts.
• Assess and report patient's physical and emotional status to relevant staff.
• Adapt care to meet diverse patient needs across all age groups.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Knowledge of treatment setup, anatomical landmarks, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and provide compassionate patient care.
