Seeking a Radiation Therapist responsible for performing simulations and delivering therapeutic ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. The role involves assisting physicians, providing optimal patient care, and supervising radiation therapy students alongside the Lead Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient simulations and administer prescribed radiation treatments
- Assist and collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality care
- Teach, supervise, and evaluate radiation therapy students
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
- Oregon Radiation Therapist License upon hire
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Preferred experience in radiation therapy
