About the Role
The Radiation Therapist performs simulations and delivers therapeutic ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. They assist physicians and colleagues in providing optimal patient care and, with the Lead Therapist, teach, supervise, and evaluate radiation therapy students.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient simulations and radiation treatments accurately
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality care
- Educate and supervise radiation therapy students alongside the Lead Therapist
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
- Oregon Radiation Therapist License upon hire
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- Experience is preferred
Pay
Pay range of $49.65 - $77.08 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials, overtime, or bonuses.
