Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments to patients according to the treatment plan under the direction of the Dosimetrist, Radiation Therapy Physicist, and/or Radiation Oncologist.
• Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions with strict adherence to safety responsibilities and guidelines.
• Assess patient needs and condition, exercising independent judgment and reacting calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Certified Radiologic Technologist license in the state of employment (ARRT Certified).
• BLS and CPR certifications.
• Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and off-site meetings; compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
• One year of experience in radiation therapy highly preferred; experience with hematology/oncology or radiation oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
