Radiation Therapist - Oncology

About the role

Under general direction and supervision and in accordance with prescription, operates x-ray therapy equipment in order to simulate and/or treat patients for malignancies and pain. Documents treatment procedures in patients charts and verifies accuracy. Performs quality assurance checks daily on equipment. Performs calculations when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or graduate of a CAHEA accredited school to Radiation Therapy or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current registration or registry eligible with the ARRT
• Must successfully complete registration examination in Radiation Therapy within one year of date of hire
