About the role
You will work under the radiation oncologist to develop and monitor patients’ progress throughout the duration of radiotherapy treatments. The Radiation Therapist will communicate the treatment process and research new treatment methods.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor radiotherapy treatment plans under the direction of a radiation oncologist
- Track and document patient progress during treatment
- Communicate the treatment process to patients and care teams
- Research and evaluate new radiotherapy methods
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills: active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $3,299
Estimated weekly stipend: $1,701
Schedule
13-week assignment starting 09/21/2026
