Responsibilities
- Documents treatment procedures in patient’s charts and verifies accuracy.
- Performs quality assurance checks daily on equipment.
- Performs calculations when required.
- Performs basic dosimetry calculation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or graduate of a CAHEA accredited school to Radiation Therapy or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current registration or registry eligible with the ARRT. Must successfully complete registry examination in Radiation Therapy within one year of date of hire.
- Operates all linear accelerators and simulators with minimal supervision.
