About the role
Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering ionizing radiation treatments to patients following the prescriptions of Radiation Oncologists.
Responsibilities
- Applying radiation accurately and safely
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Completing competency tests and departmental training
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT), with registry eligibility or certification
- BLS certification
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years of relevant experience preferred
