Radiation Therapist-Huntley Outpatient Full-time Days

Responsibilities

• Instruct and prepare patients for radiation therapy or simulations.
• Demonstrate overall knowledge of treatments and use of pertinent equipment.
• Prepare supplies and equipment necessary for positioning and accuracy of treatment.
• Assess patient pain interfering with treatments and coordinate with physicians.
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician or RN/LPN.
• Record medical histories and administer care according to individual age and abilities.
• Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and departmental standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• IEMA/IDNS licensure in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• ARRT Licensure or eligibility.
