Radiation Therapist

What You’ll Do

• Ability to prepare, compile, and maintain accurate and concise documentation.
• Collaborates effectively with physician and dosimetrist daily to deliver radiation therapy treatments accurately following physician orders and treatment plans.
• Affixes correct information for medical records and billing departments.
• Operates medical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follows all regulatory and hospital safety, radiation, and infection control policies.
• Follows HIPAA compliance.
• Exhibits professional decision making and proper course of action.
• Performs daily equipment warm-ups, quality assurance checks, and reports any malfunctions.
• Provides patient education about treatment procedures and side effect management.
• Participates in all required continuing education to stay current with radiation therapy advancements.
• Performs quality assurance daily and assumes responsibility for LINACC, Kodak CR and C-T

What We’re Looking For

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy required
• Valid KY state and ARRT license.
• 1-2+ experience preferred.
