Radiation Oncology Admin Assistant
Job Summary and Qualifications
Individual will provide administrative support for the Radiation Oncology administrative director, director, assistant director, managers, and staff. Must demonstrate solid to expert multi-tasking skills, prioritize independently, and assume accountability for personal contributions. Requires solid knowledge of computer systems for information and database management, as well as expert knowledge of hospital, departmental, admissions, KRONOS, and pre-authorization processes.
Demonstrates responsibility for effectively initiating and scheduling patients and is sought out for advice, training, and clarification. Must have experience in creating and maintaining departmental policies and procedures, forms, and compliance files. Assists in protecting equipment inventory and conducting annual inspections. Mentors and trains other staff members.
