Radiation Oncologist-Tampa
About the role
Our Tampa region is seeking a board-certified radiation oncologist to join high-volume, well-established practices within Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS). Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced, high-precision radiation therapy using state-of-the-art technology including the Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator.
- Utilize ARIA and Eclipse software to plan and deliver treatments.
- Collaborate with Medical Physicists, Dosimetrists, radiation therapists (2–3 per linac), registered nurses, and clerical support staff.
- Participate in a centrally managed leadership structure supporting general radiation oncology care in a community-based setting.
Requirements
- Full, unrestricted Florida MD/DO license.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
- Extensive knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and techniques.
