About the role
Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services in an outpatient cancer center, managing 10-15 patients daily. Conduct approximately 2-3 new patient consultations and about 15 follow-up visits weekly. Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and coordinate treatment planning through Monaco and Eclipse systems.
Support staff includes a dosimetrist, physicist, radiation therapists, and a medical assistant.
Schedule
Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology
- Prescriptive authority
- North Carolina medical license preferred; licensure through IMLC accepted
- Credentialing expected within 60 days
Skills
- Experience with radiation treatments and treatment planning systems (Monaco, Eclipse)
- Excellent patient management and documentation skills
