Radiation Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

This role is for a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist providing outpatient oncology services in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage 5-10 patients daily, including treatment planning and simulation
• Focus on IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT procedures
• Documentation and treatment delivery using EPIC EMR and Aria treatment planning system
• Operate Varian linear accelerator

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, primarily between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Nightly and weekend call coverage

Support Staff

• One other MD
• Two nurse practitioners

Patient Population

Adults undergoing cancer treatments.

Requirements

• Board certification in Radiation Oncology
• Prescriptive authority
• Experience with advanced radiation therapies (IMRT, IGRT, SBRT)
• Ability to manage outpatient oncology cases
• Proficiency in treatment planning systems (Aria, EPIC EMR)
