About the role
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in gynecologic oncology and brachytherapy, with experience working collaboratively with gynecologic oncology surgery and medical oncology.
Responsibilities
- Serving a diverse and established patient population
- Participating in a modern radiation therapy program with advanced modalities including IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, LDR and HDR brachytherapy
- Collaborating with medical oncology, surgical oncology, and other specialty areas
- Engaging in clinical and basic research, cooperative group studies, investigator-initiated trials, quality initiatives, and program development
- Contributing to medical education and academic growth
Requirements
- MD or DO Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
- Experience in HDR intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy
- Eligibility for Nevada medical licensure, state pharmacy licensure, and DEA
Qualifications
- Commitment to clinical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, education, and academic service
Skills
- Strong clinical and operational support from a highly experienced oncology team
- Teaching opportunities with medical students, residents, and PA students
- Engagement in clinical or basic research, cooperative group studies, investigator-initiated trials, quality initiatives, and program development
