Radar Systems Engineer

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or related STEM degree
• Minimum 2 years' related experience
• Experience with C++ or equivalent object-oriented computing language, Matlab, and scripting languages
• Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas: systems engineering, software and system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
• U.S. Citizenship required

Job Description

The Radar Systems Engineer will apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions. They will support design and development, evaluation, and technical assessment of radar performance. They will represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program, and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters.

You must have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. Occasional travel may be required.

Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. This position involves the ability to travel domestically and possibly internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout, and integration testing.

Desired Skills

• Strong mathematics background in linear algebra, statistical analysis, and signal processing
• Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation
• Technical leadership experience with program execution
• Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
