About the role
The Radar Engineer, Senior is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced radar systems. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance meets or exceeds industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop radar systems for military and commercial applications.
- Conduct research and development on new radar technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and other stakeholders to refine system specifications and requirements.
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure reliability and performance.
- Document design processes and procedures for future reference and training purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in radar engineering or related field.
- Experience with radar signal processing and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of radar systems, including antenna design, signal generation, and data acquisition techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Proficient in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with radar simulation software such as CST Microwave Studio or Ansoft HFSS.
- Knowledge of RF/microwave components and circuits.
- Understanding of electromagnetic theory and propagation.
Skills
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
