About the role
Corvid Technologies, a Huntsville-based engineering firm, is seeking talented Radar Engineers & Analysts to join its growing team. The team supports Range Engineering in developing, producing, and upgrading radar systems for Department of Defense (DoD) customers. Candidates will analyze radar performance, develop models, and integrate computational code into simulation tools.
Responsibilities
- Conduct real- and non-real-time analysis, modeling, and simulation of radar systems, subsystems, and components
- Develop and maintain software applications in C++ and perform analysis using Python and/or MATLAB
- Generate software specifications based on customer requirements and radar applications
- Participate in code and engineering design reviews to ensure quality and provide feedback
- Support on-site radar engineering and operations, including potential travel to land and shipboard systems
Requirements
- US Citizen with eligibility for a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline (advanced degrees preferred)
- At least one year of relevant technical experience (new graduates considered)
- Proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming
- Experience with MATLAB and/or Python for model development and simulation
- Knowledge of signal processing techniques, data analysis, and algorithm implementation
- Experience with real-time radar systems and subsystem software
Qualifications
- Strong fundamental understanding of radar performance analysis
- Ability to develop models using C, C++, Matlab, Python, and/or other object-oriented languages
- Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB and Python
- Competency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
