Radar Development Engineer- Entry Level

Position Description

The Engineer in this role will support the Radar Technology programs including modeling, simulation, and analysis; hardware and software prototyping; and development, integration and testing of surveillance and fire control radars.

Required Experience

• Excellent math skills and/or good fundamentals in electromagnetics, signals and systems, digital signal processing, and controls.
• Ability to apply these skills to the following areas: Modeling radar/weapons systems analysis, algorithm development, RF hardware, HWIL support and/or field testing support.
• Experience in software development skills in object-oriented programming principles preferred but not required.
• Experience in MATLAB is preferred but not required.

Required Education And Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Graduating GPA of 3.5+.
• Have 0-5 years of experience.

Preferred Skills/Abilities

• Software development skills in object-oriented programming principles preferred but not required.
• Experience in MATLAB is preferred but not required.

Location

Redstone Arsenal-Huntsville, Alabama
Position is full-time in the office.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Security Requirements

• Citizenship: Candidate must be a US only citizen.
• Clearance level: possess (and be able to maintain) a Final SECRET/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final SECRET Clearance.
