About the role

We are hiring a Radiologic Technologist for part-time evening shifts in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergency procedures as needed.
• Follow clinic procedure/protocol for the organization and management of the electronic medical record (e.g., test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, charging).
• Apply specialized radiology skills under the direction of a clinic provider in the care and treatment of patients.
• Perform a variety of routine and skilled radiology tests, diagnostic tests, or procedures for patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Must maintain a State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.
• Knowledge of radiographic theory and techniques, clinic policies and procedures, and principles of anatomy.
• Extensive technical or specialized training such as completion of an AMA-approved two-year training program in radiologic technology and ARRT certification.
• Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to the population served within three months of hire.

Schedule

• Part-time, varied hours.
• 4-hour shifts in the evenings.
