Responsibilities
- Proper positioning and transferring of patients, ensuring safety and comfort while applying immobilization devices when required.
- Displays an understanding of procedures and equipment utilized throughout the department.
- Follows prescribed safety standards to protect patients and staff, including proper radiation protection and adherence to safety protocols during radiographic procedures.
- Develop high-quality radiographs (films) through automatic or manual processes, ensuring technical quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Works effectively with ancillary staff.
- Ensure accurate specimen collection for laboratory testing through proficient phlebotomy practices and verification of appropriate patient information, provider orders, and test-specific sample requirements.
- Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
- Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Radiology
- Licenses: Current Ohio Radiology Licensure
- Experience: None
- Certifications: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, BLS within 7 days of hire
