What You'll Help With

Transforming healthcare is at the heart of our mission. As an Outpatient Radiology Technologist, you'll play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose patients using prescribed ionizing radiation techniques.
• Assess patients before, during, and after diagnostic procedures according to departmental guidelines.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment such as radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS systems.
• Position patients to ensure clear and accurate diagnostic images.
• Administer IV contrast injections, perform urinary catheterizations, and conduct other necessary procedures.
• Utilize RIS and electronic medical records to manage patient information.
• Train students and staff in various imaging techniques and procedures.
• May be cross-trained in laboratory phlebotomy and waived testing equipment operation, adhering to CLIA regulations.
• May be trained to perform EKGs as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registry required.
• Virginia state license required.
• AHA BLS-HCP required.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Benefits

Up to $30,000 new hire sign-on bonus and relocation assistance of up to $7,000 is available. Position rotates between CRCH OR/DX, ION, and Riverside locations in Roanoke, Virginia.

Pay & Schedule
