Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification required
• Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (where required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
• Knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques, radiation safety, and anatomy
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate radiographic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety, HIPAA, infection prevention, and organizational policies
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintain examination rooms and imaging equipment
• Communicate important findings and procedural information to physicians and the healthcare team
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
