About the role

Outpatient Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced equipment such as radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after imaging procedures according to departmental guidelines.
• Operate specialized imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Position patients appropriately and perform procedures like IV contrast injections and urinary catheterizations.
• Utilize RIS and electronic medical records for accurate documentation.
• Train students and staff as assigned, with potential cross-training in laboratory phlebotomy and EKGs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification and Virginia state license.
• Current BLS-HCP certification.
