RAD Tech (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams on pediatric patients
• Affirms radiation safety, accurate positioning, and adherence to ALARA principles
• Supports complex OR procedures (including C-Arm and O-Arm cases)
• Handles emergent imaging needs and routine inpatient/outpatient studies
• Collaborates with Radiologists, Surgeons, and the broader care team

Requirements

• ARRT certification
• Active Florida state license (or eligibility)
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required
• Current State of Florida Radiology Technologist License required
• ARRT Registered required
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required upon hire
• Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging protocols, radiation safety, and all radiology equipment
• Ability to work well with others, act as a team member, work independently, engage in critical thinking, train new personnel, ensure proper function of equipment, report unsafe conditions, and demonstrate knowledge and skill necessary for appropriate patient care
