Rad Tech, Clinic Lab Tech, or CMA - Family Medicine Buena Vista

Responsibilities

• Provide support in patient care, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education.
• Absorb patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure.
• Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care.
• Cook up referrals and patient care follow-ups.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Rad Techs: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology with ARRT current registration. Must have a current Iowa permit to practice.
• Lab Techs: Associate degree with courses in chemistry, biology, or related fields or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Laboratory Technicians preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA): accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, NCMA, NAHP, AAH, ARMA or NHCA)
