About the role

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures using advanced equipment such as radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety.
  • Operate specialized imaging equipment, position patients correctly, and perform procedures like IV contrast injections and urinary catheterizations.
  • Utilize RIS and electronic medical records for documentation and workflow.
  • Train students and staff as assigned, with potential cross-training in laboratory phlebotomy and EKGs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
  • Virginia state license and BLS-HCP certification required.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

No prior experience required.
