Job Summary
You will help our patients and their families receive high-quality diagnostic imaging services across all developmental stages so they can achieve accurate diagnoses and better health outcomes. Every day you will perform a variety of fixed and portable radiographs, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of fixed and portable radiographs
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding
- Uphold the organization's mission and core values
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Operate radiologic equipment with strong technical skills
- Understand patient care needs from infancy to geriatrics
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Respect and maintain the rights of the patient/family
- Ensure privacy and modesty in the provision of care
- Identify self by name and title to patient/family
- Determine presence/type of Advanced Directive
- Report suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified
- Understand the role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee
Required Job Requirements
- High School Graduate/GED
- Graduate of a Radiology Program
- Less than 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience
- CAMR (CA Medical Radiographer) Rad Tech license
- Basic Life Support Fluoroscopy
- PREFERRED: Associates Expanded IV Therapy Course
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
