Southern States Toyotalift is seeking experienced Forklift Technicians to join our team in various locations across Georgia and Florida.

About the role

As a Forklift Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and service of forklifts and other material handling equipment. This role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Provide on-site and in-shop repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Assist with warehouse storage solutions, including racking installation, repair, and safety inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in forklift or heavy equipment repair.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various environmental conditions.
• Familiarity with OSHA and ANSI safety regulations.
