Racker/Packer of Metal Parts - 1st shift - Will Train
About the role
Rackers prepare customer parts for the metal finishing process by securely attaching them to specialized racks before plating and removing them after processing. This position is critical to product quality because proper racking helps ensure parts are processed correctly, protected throughout production, and delivered to customers on time. You'll also inspect, count, package, and prepare customer parts while supporting production throughout the facility. No previous metal finishing experience is required—we'll provide the training.
Responsibilities
- Count and verify customer parts before processing.
- Rack customer parts according to work instructions and quality requirements.
- Inspect parts for quality, damage, and accuracy.
- Remove completed parts from racks after processing.
- Package finished products for shipment.
- Complete production paperwork accurately.
- Follow established production procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
- Meet established production and quality expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required—we will train the right candidate.
- Ability to follow written instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read an analog clock and tape measure.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and production software.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Dependable attendance.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States, as required for certain customer and government-related work.

Pay
Starting at $22.00/hour. Signing Bonus: $1,500 (New hires only. Current employees are not eligible.).
Schedule
1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM-3:00 PM + Overtime as Needed (4-Day Work Week)
