Responsibilities
- Packing Kits: Meticulously pack kits into provided boxes, ensuring correct quantity and adherence to specified packaging requirements.
- Sealing and Labeling: Securely seal boxes and affix appropriate labels for easy tracking and identification.
- Skid Organization: Efficiently stack filled boxes onto skids, maintaining an organized layout to facilitate inventory management and accurately count stacked boxes.
- Supply Management: Ensure an adequate supply of bags for the bagging process to maintain seamless production flow.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct basic quality checks on products before shipment, including verifying print accuracy on kits, inspecting bags for defects, and ensuring chipboard quality and print specifications meet standards.
- Workplace Maintenance: Uphold cleanliness and organization within the work area to promote a safe and efficient environment.
- Nonconformity Management: Control nonconforming products.
- Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed to support production objectives and meet customer demands.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a production or warehousing environment preferred.
Qualifications
- Good eye-hand coordination for precision and dexterity in packaging tasks.
- Counting accuracy, even in a fast-paced environment, to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending main line schedules and production orders.
- Basic understanding of visual quality checks to uphold product quality standards.
- Clear and concise communication, with proactive engagement with colleagues.
