Race & Sports Supervisor - Boulder

About the role

Responsible for all operations of the Race and Sports Book. Supervises all personnel assigned to the Race and Sports Department, procedures, and controls for the Race and Sports book.

Ensures adherence to all GCB rules and regulations, maintains all Title 31 and Race and Sports Book Internal Controls, and administers quarterly and yearly training in Title 31 and GCB Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all personnel in the Race and Sports Department
• Oversee all procedures and controls for the Race and Sports book
• Ensure compliance with GCB rules and regulations
• Maintain Title 31 and Race and Sports Book Internal Controls
• Administer quarterly and yearly training on Title 31 and GCB Regulations
• Understand and manage pari-mutuel and book holding percentages
• Perform hand pays for guests without computer system assistance
• Handle scheduling, ordering supplies, contracts, and administrative functions for the department

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management
• Previous Race and Sports supervisory experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CBS/LVDC Race and Sports computer systems
• Gaming licensing required
• Understanding of all aspects of departmental operations, including scheduling, supply ordering, and contracts
