RA to CNA Program

About the role

We are launching a unique Resident Assistant (RA) to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program at Plymouth Place™. This program aims to support aspiring caregivers in transitioning from RA to CNA.

Responsibilities

• Rotating shifts across healthcare center, assisted living, and memory care units.
• Supporting residents and fellow staff members.
• Assisting with daily activities and medical needs.
• Using Point Click Care or similar systems for resident management.
• Providing compassionate, dignified, and respectful care.
• Maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working independently and efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Organizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a residential care facility.
• Understanding of Point Click Care or similar systems.
• Demonstrated compassion and holistic care with dignity and respect.
• Ability to remain patient and calm in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English necessary for job duties.

Pay

You will be paid to work as a Resident Assistant (RA) while attending the CNA Academy.

Schedule

Shifts are 14, 12-hour shifts.
