Role Summary

The Record to Report (R2R) Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the client organization. The role covers the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, ledger management, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial analysis. R2R ensures financial data integrity and supports management with insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-End / Quarter-End / Year-End Close
• Execute end-to-end month-end closing activities in line with corporate deadlines
• Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, provisions, adjustments)
• Perform balance sheet and P&L reviews, analyze variances and identify root causes
• Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with internal controls, SOX, and accounting policies
• General Ledger Accounting
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are properly recorded
• Reconcile key accounts (cash, intercompany, accruals, fixed assets, payroll, GR/IR, etc.)
• Manage intercompany processes: confirmations, settlements, discrepancy resolution
• Handle adjustments, corrections, and financial clean-up activities
• Reporting & Compliance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Deliver standard and ad-hoc management reports
• Ensure alignment with IFRS / US GAAP / local statutory requirements
• Support external and internal audits; prepare audit documentation
• Process Improvement & Controls
• Identify opportunities to streamline R2R processes and increase automation
• Support standardization initiatives, global templates, and best practices
• Partner with cross-functional teams (P2P, O2C) to resolve issues
