About the Role

The School of Social Work is seeking a Student Researcher to work closely with a faculty member and support research activities related to social work. This position provides an opportunity for an MSW student to develop practical research skills while contributing to faculty and research projects under supervision.

Anticipated start date: August 24, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist the faculty with ongoing research projects
• Conduct basic literature searches and summarize relevant articles
• Help organize research materials, files, and data
• Assist with data collection and basic data entry as needed
• Support basic coding or review of research data under supervision
• Attend research meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks
• Assist with preparing research summaries, presentations, or other materials
• Follow research, confidentiality, and ethical guidelines

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the MSW Program
• Interest in social work research and evidence-based practice
• Basic ability to use Microsoft Office or similar computer programs

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
