R&P Sales Representative East, Alligare

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets with channel partners and end users within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute a Territory Plan by expanding market awareness of our products through communicating features and benefits of products successfully.
• Manage and grow existing customer base by understanding and anticipating customer needs.
• Communicate sales and marketing opportunities with existing and new business opportunities.
• Identify and resolve any and all customer disputes while recommending a course of action to alleviate future concerns.
• Communicate to leadership quickly on corrective actions.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and professional development opportunities at a Corporate level and with existing customer base.
• Maintain awareness of pertinent customer information, future plans, payment performance, and communicate any information that would affect company decisions.
• Maintain an understanding and knowledge of competitive products and offers by identifying and reporting intelligence on pricing and marketing strategies.
• Submit ongoing territory reports to include daily activities, competitor information, and customer interaction.

Requirements

• BS/BA (preferably) in Ag Business or Agricultural Sciences.
• Livest within the territory and the ability to travel extensively within the territory up to 50%.
• Reliable transportation with clean driving record.
• Goal of becoming successful in performing territory development activities and personal growth opportunities within Alligare.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
