R.N. II NICU - Full Time - Nights - 12hr QVH

About the role

The Staff RN is a professional caregiver responsible for the NICU patient. They coordinate and implement patient care specific for the high-risk neonate, ensuring quality care in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the unit's standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Determines the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and educational needs of the patient/family/significant other to develop, implement, and revise the plan of care.
• Utilizes nursing skills to provide comprehensive care for high-risk neonates.
• Ensures compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum Experience Requirement: Completion of Emanate Health R.N. New Grad Program, one year NICU experience preferred.
• Minimum License Requirement: Current RN license in the State of California.
• BLS certification required.
• NRP required within 6 months of date of hire/transfer.
• Athorized annual 1 hour of Stroke Education required.
• Available to work every other weekend.

Pay

$48.97 - $74.88 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Every other weekend availability required.
