About the role

This is a 6-month temporary, onsite assignment located in North Chicago, IL 60064.

Responsibilities

• High-output transfer of compounds with tracking
• Documentation of all work in Microsoft Excel
• Receiving and stocking of laboratory supplies
• Disposal of laboratory waste products
• Completes daily responsibilities as assigned by lab head
• Adherence to EHS safety mandates

Requirements

• AS or BS in a scientific field (chemistry or biology preferred)
• Attention to detail is critical
• Ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task within an environment of shifting deadlines and demands
• Familiarity with laboratory balances and practices
• Able to work independently and within a team setting
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Working with potentially hazardous materials; PPE required
• No previous industry experience is required

Pay

$20.00 - $22.00/hr
