Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and take readings on group of pilot plants.
- Collect samples for the labs to analyze.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the work area.
- Make use of the Honeywell Operating System to continuously make improvements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts - 2 weeks on day shift (6:00am-6:00pm) & 2 weeks on night shifts (6:00pm-6:00am) which includes some weekends and holidays.
- Overtime is eligible.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with using tools.
- Creative problem solving.
- Handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $44,800- $56,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. About the Role
Pilot plants at UOP are bench scale assemblies of high pressure equipment where experiments are conducted for the purpose of catalyst and process development for the Refinery and Petrochemical industries.
