R&D Technician I
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and take readings on group of pilot plants.
- Collect samples for the labs to analyze.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the work area.
- Use the Honeywell Operating System to continuously make improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience in a research and development or laboratory environment.
- Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields.
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights) which includes some weekends and holidays.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with using tools.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $44,800 - $56,000.
Schedule
You will work out of our McCook, Illinois location on an On-site work schedule.
About the Role
This position reports directly to our Sr R&D Supervisor.
