R&D Technician I

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and take readings on group of pilot plants.
• Collect samples for the labs to analyze.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the work area.
• Use the Honeywell Operating System to continuously make improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a research and development or laboratory environment.
• Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights) which includes some weekends and holidays.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with using tools.
• Creative problem-solving skills.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $44,800 - $56,000.

Schedule

You will work out of our McCook, Illinois location on an On-site work schedule.

About the Role

This position reports directly to our Sr R&D Supervisor.
