Responsibilities
- Support scientists in testing new ingredients and beverage models.
- Accurately prepare samples.
- Submit samples for analytical or sensory testing.
- Thoroughly document experimental details.
- Accurately enter data and analyze results.
- Support production runs in technical center pilot plant.
- Maintain and document laboratory inventory.
- Perform all activities in a safe manner and within the context of safety protocols.
- Work in the lab under GLP/GMP practices.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment.
- Manage multiple project tasks to support the workgroup, manage time and expectations for group needs.
- Effectively communicate conflict of requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
- Laboratory bench work experience in school or at a consumer goods company.
- (Experience in food and beverage industry is a plus).
- Familiarity with lab analytical instruments and beverage processing equipment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Computer Skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook (email/calendar).
