About the role
You will lead an R&D team supporting clinical diagnostic products across the lifecycle. The role involves balancing technical decision-making, resource prioritization, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment while ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of sustaining initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution of product support, lifecycle management, and design change initiatives.
- Manage team priorities, resources, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Provide technical leadership and resolve complex product and process issues.
- Ensure successful transfer of changes to manufacturing and maintain compliance.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in an applicable science or engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience (advanced degree preferred).
- Work Experience: 8+ years of increasingly complex technical R&D experience, including supervision of technical projects, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Scientific background with proven ability to coordinate technical staff, including the ability to read and understand patents.
- Leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple OEM vendors, divisions, and executive management.
- Strong business acumen, including basic financial training and an understanding of the customer environment.

- Compensation: Estimated annual salary range is $157,400 to $216,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation is based on several factors including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, dependent upon achievement of individual objectives and company performance.
