R&D Lab Technician – Entry Level Job

Job Description

The successful candidate will conduct physical testing of medical devices in a product testing lab and assemble prototypes.

Previous mechanical testing lab experience is preferred.

This position is NOT suitable for someone with a diagnostic laboratory background.

This is for mechanical/electrical testing, not testing in the area of microbiology or chemistry.

Requirements

• Experience with operating Instron testing equipment would be helpful, but not required
• The position requires basic computer skills, knowledge and experience of laboratory test equipment, good written and verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and an ability to exactly follow detailed instructions.
• Minimum of a HS diploma or GED, required.
