Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience (preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Engineering Physics) in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience working with lasers and optical components including alignment, characterization, and maintenance.
- Experience with integrating and troubleshooting complex systems, including optical, mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Ability to operate and maintain complex systems, perform data collection, and conduct system calibration and validation.
- Strong documentation skills, including the ability to capture minimum viable product documentation, system requirements, and test procedures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Flexibility and a willingness to travel regionally to customer locations for 0-25% of your work time.
About the role
This role is based in Plymouth, MN and offers a Hybrid work schedule. External hires will start with 90 days on site before transitioning to a 3/2 hybrid schedule.
Pay
The annual range for this position is $91,200 - $114,000. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline.
