Job Description
The Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Engineering Division of Applied Research Lab (ARL) is seeking undergraduate students to assist with various activities in the Materials Science Division. ARL is an authorized DoD SkillBridge partner and welcomes all transitioning military members to apply.
Responsibilities
- Material synthesis
- Device fabrication
- Process simulation for fabrication
- Development of advanced materials and material systems
Requirements
- Majoring in Engineering, Welding and Metal Fabrication Technology programs
- Materials Science and Engineering (MATSE)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Engineering Science
- Aerospace engineering
- Nuclear Engineering
Qualifications
Students majoring in the above-mentioned fields are encouraged to apply. The successful candidates will work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer. This is a paid internship located at ARL’s Innovation Park location; relocation and housing are not provided.
