We are seeking an innovative and scientifically curious R&D Chemist to join our global research and development team. Responsibilities

  • Research, develop analytical methods, and assist in formulation of products for the wafer level and semiconductor packaging, IC substrate, and printed circuit board industries.
  • Identify, develop, and execute analytical research project activities as delegated by the Senior Research Manager.
  • Observe, analyze, and interpret the results from these activities and make recommendations for the direction and preferred route forward for analytical research projects.
  • Use data generated proactively for problem solving and/or value-added activities on projects.
  • Write reports and presentations that clearly communicate technical findings to other researchers, and participate in departmental project meetings.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art analytical methodologies, including but not limited to electrochemical techniques, CVS, UV-vis, FTIR, HPLC, IC, and GPC.
  • Maintain a high level of professional expertise in the state-of-the-art principles, theories, and methodologies in technology areas of strategic importance to AIS.

Requirements

  • BS in Chemistry with 0-2 years of laboratory experience.
  • Strong background in Analytical Chemistry and/or Electrochemistry particularly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with modern analytical instrumentation and laboratory techniques, including chromatographic, spectroscopic, and electrochemical methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Pay

The typical base salary range for this position is between $71,822.00 and $107,732.00.
