With our engineering expertise, collaboration, and customer partnerships, LFG was created to drive innovation in switchgear manufacturing and design! While working in our fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this person will collaborate with other departments to deliver solutions that keep our company ahead of the industry! Position Responsibilities Estimate Development: Review blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate time, material, and labor estimates for switchgear projectsCross-Team Collaboration: Partner with the Engineering and Production Teams to ensure designs are practical and align with LFG’s manufacturing capabilitiesQuotations & Proposals: Generate professional, competitive proposals that meet customer requirements while supporting profitability and long-term partnershipsVendor & Supplier Relations: Issue RFQs, secure competitive pricing, negotiate with suppliers, and recommend alternatives when appropriateCustomer Engagement: Work with Sales to strategize on bids, clarify requirements, and support customers through the quoting processValue Engineering: Identify opportunities to optimize designs and reduce costs without sacrificing quality or performanceTracking & Reporting: Maintain historical cost databases, supplier information, and ensure accurate documentation for all bids and proposalsFollow-Up: Track open quotes, support transition from awarded projects, and provide input on post-project reviews.
